Précis: A talk reflecting on design computation in a broad sense, through a series of case-study projects that only exist because of our efforts to collect data about how "as-built" and situated objects or system's interact with their environment. Giving consideration to the implications of data in both digital and analogue form as the basis for informing design decisions for each iteration through processes of feed-back and feed-forward.

About: Christopher Leung is an architect by training and an associate professor at the Bartlett. He conducts research into digital design and manufacture specializing in prototyping the physical interactions between environmentally responsive materials and the envelope of buildings.
